blueberry's

We picked almost #30 this year. We love this delicious berries and can't seem to get enough. Last year we ran out in February so we planned ahead a little better this year. Erin was in her glory. She helped process almost all the berry's and make a delicious pie. Thanks Erin!!!

Swimming Lessons

Today was the last day of swimming lessons. Alli, Erin and Tyler jumped off the diving board, went under and swam to the edge. Alli and Erin won their freestyle swim race. Erin was just bummed she didn't get to race the back stroke. That was her favorite stroke. Tyler swam and jumped with a noodle but is a lot more confident about the water. The girls made great improvements and are both swimming pretty well. I'm proud of them and I know they are proud of themselves:)

A hike to the falls

The falls were really a beautiful site. The cascades on the way were almost as beautiful. The hike zigzaged along the side of the mountain on a paved trail. The kids all made it. Then they sat really quiet in the van on the way to the next falls:)

It was a bit chilly and rainy. Thus the need for the hoods.

A second falls and family photo op/...

Lots of wild life. Buffalo, Antalope, Bears, Elk and a few others. We got to see them all.

On the way to Yellowstone

We made quite a few stops at some beatiful palces. I think I could have sat in this park all day.

In the corner you can see the rental van. We used that to tour the park and carry all of us.

Tim and Tyler at the top of the World.

arriving at the Vanorder farm

Uncle Evan took us for a 4-wheeler ride around the property. There is a beatiful river in the back and lots of room to ride.

The boy's set up a target for sling shots. They were getting pretty good.
The girls set up camp and pretended to be Indian's.
The kids took a ride on noodles.
