Tyler moment

Many of you with little kids may know a bit about Webkinz. You can adopt stuffed pets and put them online. Tyler has quite a few pets posted online. The other day was a webkinz celebration where they got a special, very fancy, celebration cake to feed to a pet. Tyler was playing and I over heard him say "ok Jagwir I know you want the cake so I am going to feed it to you. Just don't tell any of the other pets."

Ohio state motto

Did anyone know the state moto for Ohio is: "with God all things are possible?" (Matt 19:26) Alli has been studying some of the states and we came across this. Seeing that put a smile on my face today :o) Guessing none of the radicals have done their state mottos homework, so it is flying under the radar. Don't you love it!!!!

Spring

I think every year I say this tree is prettier than it has ever been. It just can't be captured in a picture..

I planted tons of tulip bulbs.
The ones that came up are beautiful. I love spring flowers.

Home work

Erin does not like homework.... She is very smart and often without us realizing it she will get someone else (myself, Alli or her dad) to do it for her. It is often very easy for her but, she says, "it uses up all my time." Last night she asked me for a scissors.... and I know she has one because I bought a ton of them and gave one to her to keep in her desk...but finding it is another story.. So I gave her one....Then she starts to whine about the homework and so on. I said Erin I am not going to do your homework. I did 16 years of homework and I do not want to do anymore. So she says, "Yah but that was like 20 years ago, you have had a pretty long break"......... ????

Do you ever have one of those days???

I loved my Bible study moment this morning. Thought I would share. My study took me to the Isrealites and the situation of the Red Sea on one side and the furious Egyptian army on the other. With no where to go and a bad situation on either side, they began to panic.
Ever been there?? I trusted you God and now this.....

Exodus 14:14 (God's response)
"The Lord will Fight for you; you need only be still."

Be still........and I will hold off the army and part the sea. Just be still.... don't panic and quit gripping at me... I am in control, because I am GOD and you are not. Be still...

Happy Easter

What a beautiful sunny Easter morning. I always love to see the sun on Easter morning. Of course I got to see the sun rise too. As the kids were excited to find the easter eggs that were hidden by "the Easter bunny" the night before. They were also excited to get to the exciting day ahead. What a joy to celebrate with my kids at church. We had a wonderful service and a sanctuary filled with Easter lillies and joy filled Christian brothers and sisters. Our service included an amazing dramatic presentation including the last supper and scenes from the Easter morning empty tomb. We are so blessed to serve a risen savior!!! We then had a great Easter feast at the Mom Hart Resturante'. I think I am still full:) Happy Easter!!!!
