Picture at the Southern most point. We had one from 18 years ago when we met. Now we have an updated version.

Girls on the run 2011
Look at those socks. Helped to have them because our girls stood out as they ran by with those on.
Ahh time to relax after a great 5K run.

Funny boy
Tyler hands me the inside baseball today. With bat in hand says, "Mom just throw it straight. Don't worry though... I can hit garbage balls."
Second comment of the day:
"UUU Mom... you were right." Hmmm??? "Eating a whole chocolate Easter bunny gives you a pretty bad tummy ache." So are you ok.... "Yeah...(sigh) My tummy likes me to space out my chocolate. My tongue just forgets because it is so good"

Spring soup
3 cans (14 oz) of chicken stock
3 ham slices diced or about 4 cups
3 green onions diced
1 to 1 1/2 lbs (one bunch) fresh asparagus diced (discard ends)
2 cups half and half
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Bring chicken stock to a boil. Add ham, asparagus and onion. Boil until asparagus is tender. Shake half and half and flour together and add. Bring up to a boil until slightly thickened and add cheeses. Stir and enjoy.
Had to post this one. It is sooo yummy. Plus now I'll know where my recipe is for next year when the fresh asparagus is ready ;0)
